Safety Guidelines

Meet first. Arrange an initial conversation, ideally by video or in a public place, before any in-home service.

Verify for yourself. Ask to see identification and any certificates. Call references. Screening and badges are a starting point, never a substitute for your own judgment.

Put it in writing. Agree on services, hours, rates, cancellation expectations and emergency contacts before the first visit.

Share only what's needed. Keep children's full names, school details, alarm codes and travel dates out of messages until trust is established.

Trust your instincts. If anything feels off, pause and report it to us through Complaint and Incident Reporting. In an emergency, always call 911 first.
