The Happy Home Company was started because we saw a gap in our own home.
Over the last several years, I noticed something about myself that I couldn't ignore. As life became busier and my responsibilities grew, so did my need for calm. I discovered that when my home felt cluttered or out of order, my mind did too. I was more anxious, less patient, less creative, and carrying the weight of unfinished chores everywhere I went.
For me, a clear space truly became a clear mind.
It wasn't always this way. This realization came later in life, after 50. My children were grown, but I was running businesses, managing people, serving clients, and constantly thinking. Every day I would stage beautiful vacation homes for our guests — perfectly folded towels, fluffed pillows, sparkling counters, fresh scents, peaceful spaces — and then I'd come home wishing I could experience that same feeling myself.
I searched for help.
Like many families, I found traditional cleaning services that did an incredible deep clean — but often at $400–$500 a visit. The house looked amazing… for a day. Then life happened. Breakfast dishes. Shoes by the door. Laundry. Mail. Toys when the grandkids visited. The endless cycle started all over again.
That's when it hit me.
What people like me don't always need is another expensive deep clean. We need someone to simply reset the home.
Just an hour a day. While you're at work. While you're picking up the kids. While you're living your life.
Someone to make the beds, fold the blanket on the couch, unload the dishwasher, wipe the counters, refresh the bathrooms, straighten the shoes, fluff the pillows, tidy the toys, and create that feeling of walking through the front door and exhaling.
Because everyone deserves to come home to peace.
As I've spent years inside hundreds of homes through my work in hospitality, I've realized something else: so many people are carrying the same invisible weight. Busy professionals. Parents juggling work and family. Single parents doing everything themselves. Couples trying to keep up with life. The home often becomes the last thing anyone has time for, yet it's the very place we go to recharge.
The irony is that the place meant to restore us can sometimes become another source of stress.
Our mission is to change that.
My husband, Gregg, recently learned the importance of a peaceful home and how it changed our entire mood. Before I walked through the door after a long day, he'd often spend time straightening the house — not because he had to, but because he knew how much that small act of care meant to me. We both know the feeling of taking a deep breath when you walk into a calm, organized space, and we wanted to help other families experience that same feeling every single day.
So together, we built The Happy Home Company.
Not a cleaning company. A Home Reset Company.
